Dr. Arany is the Samuel Bellet Professor of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiovascular Metabolism Program at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Arany's laboratory focuses on the mechanisms that cause metabolic disease in the cardiovascular system, including peripartum cardiomyopathy. His lab has published more than 150 research papers in prominent medical and research journals. Dr. Arany is regularly invited to speak nationally and internationally on his basic and clinical research in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Arany lives outside of Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys traveling, water sports and a good movie.

Dr. Thordsen is a Clinical Associate Professor and cardiologist at the University of Wisconsin. She has a special interest in heart disease complicating pregnancy, especially Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. She is involved in clinical program development including surrounding Cardio-obstetrics and cardiovascular imaging. She lives in the suburbs of Milwaukee and is interested in equestrian sports and learning to soeak Hindi.

Dr. Lewey is a cardiologist who specializes in caring for pregnant and postpartum women with heart disease, including peripartum cardiomyopathy. Her research is focused on cardiovascular disease prevention in women and improving quality of care and cardiovascular health outcomes in pregnancy and the postpartum period. She lives in Philadelphia with her partner and two sons.
